I am looking for a new one. My old one is shot and it is a VidalSasson. But I can`t seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone recommend a good large barrel round brush for use w/ a blowdryer. Yes, I know, blowdrying is a no-no but i am addicted.

The Amassador boar bristle brushes sold in the Marketplace on this web site are very good.

There are also Spornette brushes in various diameters here:

Vidal Sasson makes a GREAT one. I got it at the grocery store of all places! It is vented and between the bristles has thin metal rods---heat conduction?? ANyway, it never gets stuck in may hair and I love it.

I prefer boar bristle brushes but if you want a good all-around styling brush, there is the classic Denham 9 row brush.

Hi,

I really like the Spornettes. They are good brushes. I have one that I have had for a long time. I also use the Ambassador round brush but they are a lot smaller than you might like. Cricket makes a good brush that is boar and soft. You can usually find them at the larger beauty supply stores.

Conair makes a really good one that is like the Vidal Sasson and Drugstore.com sells the Conair brushes so that is a place to look.
