I need some hair advice. I'm a 16 year old male growing my hair out long. Not normal long, but to my shoulders.
Based on my hair's texture (i suspect it's sort of fine, as far as the actual strands not the number of them), I would think it would look best all one length around my shoulders or a bit longer in the back maybe just to stop the annoying "flip" effect.
I was growing w/ no trims since September, but got a trim in February in which the stupid hairdresser did not listen and added layers to my hair. My hair grows fast, but the layers were pretty darn short. The overall length wasn't changed, but the layers were....ew.
Here are some pictures. I wasn't wearing a shirt, so I blacked out the bottom of the pics.

So, I just have some questions.
1) What texture does my hair appear to be?
2) Does it look healthy?
3) Will weight straighten it more? I don't think it's terribly wavy overall, probably mostly straight.
4) Do I really need trims or can I just trim any especially bad ends myself and just wait til it's all one length at my shoulders? The only trim I'd do was keeping the bottom stable so the layers catch up.
5) Will the "flip effect" at the bottoms end with further weight? Do I need it past my shoulders, or just to my shoulders?
6) Will all one length even look good?
Any other additional comments/tips appreciated...I really need advice and help! Thanks!
