Lourdes Stephen was the guest newsbabe on Despierta America on Univision. Typically, she's on the early evening or evening news on that network. If there is a newsbabe with longer hair, I haven't seen her.

I only have a photo from yesterday when she had her hair straight. I wish I had some from the morning show. It was curly and looked great. Not that this looks bad.

Obviously the Latins have the best hair.

Wink Just a stunner, Kramer. Thank you! There is one Am. Indian woman in one of the Dakotas whose hair is and has been about classic length. She was noted in the defunct Long Hair Site shortly before it closed. I can't believe I don't remember her name. Then, there *was* Ann Curry, until 16 months ago.
I can't help but wonder how much peer pressre there is for Lourdes to "conform". Ouch Bob

Probably not much, given the network she works for.

Bob I don't think they have to worry about that. That is good news. Only if she came to a US news job I bet she would feel the pressre and that is a shame.

While I prefer short hair in most cases, I tend to look at the overall package.  Visually to me, most cases look better with short hair.  However, there are always exceptions in nature.  This is one of those cases.  I have commented in the past on other long hair looks that also look good to me.
I noticed that some other posters have a similar screen name as me and there has been at least 2 other incidents where I was "blamed" for comments that did not originate from me.
While I still loveshorthair (in most cases), I will be changing my screen name so I am not only thought of as a lover of short hair but rather a lover of beautiful hair.  Peace Out!

Not a great admirer of that particular style...would like to see a bit of curl.

No need to change your screen name unless you really want to.  Nobody should attribute words to you that you haven't spoken.

And yes I understand what you're saying about hair length preferences.  I'm kind of the same, only opposite (if that makes sense).

In my eyes, Lourdes Stephen of Univision still has the best hair among all newsbabes. I spotted a couple photos on her Facebook page that made me think she had her hair cut, but GoGoMags showed her hari is still as lovely as ever.
