Ok, i have shoulder length wavy hair. I bleached it last year and it grew out now it has bleached tips. I was wondering if anybody has any products that work to use with a straightening iron without damaging hair? love, me

hi blonde baby. there are lotions and sprays out there to buffer the heat of hair styling appliances. you could try one of these if you like, however, at the temp at which some of these appliances run, its kinda hard to believe that a simple lotion or spray could protect your hair from being ruined. i would just becareful of how much you use your straightening iron and CONDITION!! esp your ends because they are bleached. get a good moisturizing conditioner, and use it liberally on your ends every time or every other time you shampoo. also, i would recommend you try deep conditioning one or twice a month. hope this helps. love, penny

hi! me again. i almost forgot...if you do try one of the lotions/sprays, look in the ingrediants. if it has a good amount of silicon in it, you might also want to buy a clarifyer. you can gauge how much silicon is in it by looking at how high it is in the list..if its near the beginning, theres more of it. if you cannot afford one, try mixing equal amounts of your shampoo and baking soda together.
