I have medium red hair and want to dye it dark green, but do not want to end up with some weird tinge permently. Is this likely to happen? Do you recommend (or not) any particular brands?

Thanks!

hi chicory. temporary does mean temporary, so yes, it will wash out in one to two washings. if it doesnt, use a claryfing shampoo. or use equal amounts of shampoo and baking soda if u dont want to buy a whole new shampoo for this one time. the only brand i can think of for weird haircolors is manic panic. they, however are a semi permanent. so it would take longer for it to wash out than temporary, but it will eventually wash out. they do have a website, so i encourage you to visit there and check out the types of haircoloring they have and their color selection...which is pratically the whole rainbow. lol. they also have advice for newbies and beginners,
love, penny

When I was in high school, I used Glints to "temporarily" color my hair. My hair is naturally a light brown. The color made my hair a nice lighter auburn. It was a very nice color and it suited me well, but it was supposed to wash out in 6-8 washes. It finally grew out six months later. This was just my experience. Everyone`s hair takes differently to coloring.
