Date Posted: January 29 2002 at 2:10pm Does coloring dark brown hair with permanent color ALWAYS result in bringing out the reddish undertones, simply because of the peroxide? It seems I can`t put even a basic brown color in my hair without it pulling in the red tones. My last hair coloring job, a medium warm brown with NO gold or red added, still seemed to pull in some red tones. Thanks!
