I have a party that I`m going to this weekend, and I really want to make loose waves in my hair. Not curls exactly, but to do it, I need a curling iron. I am oblivious as to how to use a curling iron. I always burn my scalp, and can never get the hair to stay on the barrel, even when I use the clip. I also can`t even get all the way around my head! Is there any way to curl using a curling iron, without getting someone else to do it for me? Please help!

Hair: It can make you happy, it can make you sad, but mostly it just allows you to spend some quality time with your mirror. :-)

hi. you could try loosly braiding your hair while its still wet and blow drying it. just make sure you put some gell or mousse in it to make it smooth.
