The same thing happened to me during the winter of '05/'06 and it set me back about a month or so. I was very upset.
The best thing to do when you get scalped is brush vigorously with a medium brush. A hard brush can sometimes disturb your base pattern when your hair is really short. ------------- DUB-C |

Then brush with a medium for about three weeks, then switch to a hard brush and you should be fine. ------------- DUB-C |

Because your hair follicles need a little more pressure on them than a soft brush provides after you get scalped. A medium brush will help your connections come in better. Basically, your hair strands are slanted in the wave pattern direction without the rest of the nap/curl. That is why you can still see the wave base pattern. You just have to restart the recoiling nap/curl training process and a medium brush is good for that. ------------- DUB-C |

I always tell my barber to cut it dark when I say dark he knows that I mean you shouldn't be able to see my scalp at all after a hair cut unfortunately I went to another barber and he gave me a one its no trip though my dude your hair will grow back there is mad time to blow before the battle of the coasts extravaganza!!! -------------
