I hardly ever go to a barber. What hairstyles are there that are low all around but nt bald.

I dont know what hairstyle i should ask for .

Any names of hairscuts would help especially if there are pictures.

also, What haircut is good for waves?

U can tell yo barber 2 cut u all even, but tell him 2 use a high guard. #1.5 or #2. If u already got some waves get a # 2 cut. if u about 2 start brushin get maybe a # 1.5. Gettin a taper help yo ish look fresh 2.

depends on ya texture and your wave progress, if your startin out, maybe a 3 guard atg (my preference) and once ya shyt is trained and reall deep, you can cut shorty, no less than a dark ceaser

you can add a temple taper, which is where they fade the hair on your temples startin from the hairline, from almost bald into the rest of the cut, depends if its your style

the back can be boxed, (where the bottom of the back is cut so its a straight line, a curve, where the back is curved, or a taper, where the bottom is faded

make sure ya hair is clean and not wet, and you'll be good

remember, to let yah hair grow out and brush and durag when you want progress with ya waves

I just went and got a cut today. I was pretty clueless too since I just got rid of my braids so I haven't had a real cut yet. I walked in and the barber already knew what to give me. Hit me up with a "Caesar." Dunno all the specifics and numbers and what not, but I mentioned I was gonna start working on waves and he gave me that.

yah #2 with the grain cut is good for waves especially if just starting out. or anything else thats been said. i know since i started waving ive only had 1 haircut so far and i was a little unsure about what to get, actually i had a pretty good idea kuz i was on this site, but my barber's awesome. he knew exactly what to do as soon as he seen my waves.
