Houston-based rapper Lil’ Flip, real name Wesley Eric Weston Jr., was arrested and charged with Credit Card Fraud on Saturday, June 21, 2007.
According the Houston Chronicle, Flip is accused of buying a $671 Southwest Airlines ticket to Baltimore from Houston on June 8 with an American Express card held by a man identified as Jordan Salinger. Salinger told authorities he did not authorize the purchase. The rapper, who owns an $800,000 home in the Twins Lakes Subdivision in northwest Harris County, told authorities the ticket was purchased by a Kevin Frank. However, Frank claims he didn’t make the purchase nor knew the rapper. Flip turned himself in on the felony charge around 2:30 p.m. Saturday and was released shortly thereafter on a $2,000 bond. LOL @ J-Kid. What I dont get is y would he steal somebodys credit card 2 buy a $671 plane ticket when U a rap entertainer. U supposed 2 get have money. Dat mean if he gotta steal $700, he need 2 step his rap game up. ------------- |

Whens the last time Flip sold ringtones or performed live. Thats where they get money. They only get like 4 cents per CD.
