I have posted this under another thread and Im just afraid it will get lost in the shuffle. I have had short 2 long micro links in my hair for exactly two weeks today and I have lost about 2 bonds. They don't seem to be pulling that much of my real hair out. They are not silicone lined which I heard stay in your hair much better. I have only washed my hair 3 times in three weeks and bruch with either my fingers or a pick but never at the bonds. My hair is thin ( like Charlize Theron thin ) and maybe that is part of the problem. I had GL last year which destroyed my hair, so I am not a fan of any glue. I was told that tracks would also probably put alot of strain on my hair. I really liked the idea of micro links because I can take them out and keep an eye out on my real hair as well as keep this hair for a long time. Does anyone have any suggestions I.E another method, making this currant method more dependable. My Stylist will be back on vacation hopefully tomm. If I use another methond can I use this hair? Any suggestions would be great!

oh gosh I knew I forgot something. Yes she did she e installed the ones that fell out and took the loose ones out and re installed them at no charge. But today as I was brushing my hair I noticed this hair is shedding big time, to where its just pretty much the bond left on my head. I think I need to find different hair and maybe use the silicone microlinks. It Hasn't even been a month. Any reccomendations?

Did you tell the stylist? It has just started shedding? Is it shedding from the new bonds only? They may need to be replaced, may be from a bad batch. Have you changed your care routine, maybe conditioning the bonds? Some extensionists say you can't get conditioner on the type of bonds they use.

Hmm, that is not good. What about the humidity? You were also having problems with that. Did she have any suggestions on products? I was glancing through Allure just now. I always get that issue with all the free stuff lol. There was a big ad for Garnier and their anti humidity line. They are a less expensive drugstore one but I have actually always had good luck with their color shampoos. Plus it smells nice, that Fructis line or whatever it is.

I am just not  fan of this hair at all. I condition it like crazy ( no where near the bonds of course ) and then not condition at all and it stll looks and feels the same, frizzy, corse, looks like it has not benn brushed in days look. I have tried all serums, leave ins, and sprays still the same. As far as the shedding the bonds or links are there just no hair. or very little hair. I like the concept of this method just think the hair and the metal clamps are crappy.
