Hi, this is my first post on this forum, and I am sorry to say that it will be a bad review of a company that I recently ordered glue from. I was reassured by the person whom I was ordering from that the glue that I was ordering, Safe Grip, would be feasible to be used with extension wefts because it bonds hair to skin, and unfortunately, my client had a need for that type of glue because liquid gold was put in incorrectly and resulted in their hair being torn out in sensitive areas.
I ordered from this company, called Hair Dynamics, the first time with my credit card. They only offered priority shipping, so instantly I bought this glue for the price of $45. The man who I spoke with at customer service seemed nice enough. It didn't turn up a week later, so I called back to find out what the problem was. Apparently they had assumed that my card was fraudulent so they didn't even bother to tell me that the card had not been bothered with, and that they didn't process it, after they reassured me that if there were any problems with the card, they would give me a call. I then asked them to put the order through again with the same card, and to call me if there were any problems. By now, this was getting frustrating already. I was supposed to do the install with the glue the week before, and everything had to be put on hold due to these problems.
When the glue arrived, I had already done the install (couldn't wait any longer) with Liquid Gold. I figured that when LG started to come out in certain areas, I would replace it with this new glue.
Well I tried this new glue last night, just a dab, and even today, the glue is not dry! Not only that, but the bond from the weft to the scalp has already lifted and was not stuck down in the first place.
I called the company back asking them what the could do about this, even asking for advice, and all that I got was bad attitude from the man that I spoke to. He stated that I took up too much of their time at the company (this was my third phone call, the other two before were simply trying to order the stuff) and that they couldn't take back anything that was used (which is understandable). The problem that I had is that the man was extremely rude and was getting offensive over me telling him what the problem was.
The client is still in the need of something to attach wefts to skin without burning their scalp. If anyone has any ideas, I would be delighted to hear. And please watch out for Hair Dynamics. I don't want anyone to have to go through the hell I've been through.
