UPDATE: I think I did get a bad batch of the Dlux. I had ordered a clearance weft (price is right for a friend that just wants to try out extensions for fun and let me practice the Tiffany Twist on her) Well, the weft arrived yesterday, and I must say, silky silky silky! Huge difference from the batch I installed on my head. But then again, we'll see how it goes the first week or two of her washing the weft. Even tho I have a new pack of the 18/22 leftover that feels silky, I'm still... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54714&KW=tiffany&PID=416373#416373"> |

I just saw an advertisment for Tiffany Twist. Has anyone ever tried it and if so, what did u think? I've tried it for the first time a week ago. I love the ease of it! I did a search and it doesn't look like it's really been discussed at HB for over a month. At that point, the 'rules'suggest to just start a new thread. No harm in doing that at all. Quite a few members at DIYE are using Tiffany Twist, and have alot of free discussion on it and plenty of info. I had purchased the Dlux back when it was only 25% off. There has been alot more postive than negative regarding the hair's quality. I wasn't concerned with any shedding issue, as I was using the Tiffany Twist. I've used the8A/14b, 18/22, and some 613 for highlights. Iinstalled it last friday. After the first shampoo/cond (using Pureology) I realized I didn't care for the 613...the strands were too light for a match to my highlights. When I removed them, the some of the strands... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54714&KW=tiffany&PID=415938#415938"> |

Yes- a lot of people are having great results with the Tiffany Twist if you want to do another strand-by-strand. If you want the very best in hair, like Bunny & Malibu said, it will be Russian Virgin. Definitely check out the site Bunny suggested for more info on suppliers. You can get it in bulk and install it strand-by-strand, or you can have it wefted in a hand-tied weft and use another method of install. Sew-in would prob. be a great method for you since you already know how much you love... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54709&KW=tiffany&PID=408933#408933"> |

Oh I forgot about what I actually use currently - Tiffany Twist, its installed very similar to fusion/GL but its a different substance entirely, I feel very gentle on the hair (though I can't personally compare it to fusion). It has a definate learning curve and can be hard to learn at first, but once you get the hang of it, its amazing! I belive there were a few threads on it lately if you do a search. http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54709&KW=tiffany&PID=408793#408793"> |

I'm loving the Tiffany Twist, next week I'll be posting photos. I can actually condition my entire head while wearing it. It's comfortable and I don't worry about the bonds showing. I still wear one row of weft to fill in my thin hair. I'm writing up all the information so I can give all the details. So next week expect the full review and pictures. I'd post pics now but the augenmerk is coming to the end of its life. & the Tiffany Twist is a wax derivative. Ok so I was going to schedule a consult for a sew-in at a nice salon, but then I found out that I have a friend who can corn row pretty well (and her boyfriends other daughter can do them REALLY well apperently soon as shes back in town) so she is going to make my track and I'm going to sew-in it myself. I feel confident that I can do the sewing part, but what sort of things should I make sure she does with the braid? I want to start with one or two tracks - what shape/placement will get... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54429&KW=tiffany&PID=407685#407685"> |

I really love the tiffany twist, I have fine thin hair and do one layer of trumpets on the weft & rest tiffany twist. It removes easily and I no longer want to use any acetone on my head. It does some great bonds around the face too. http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54300&KW=tiffany&PID=405564#405564"> |

I think the first sign of advertising is when you call the person on it and they play dumb. TiffanyTwist is doing the same thing as we speak. It's becoming textbook. http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=53953&KW=tiffany&PID=402958#402958"> |

Nope, it was the Tiffany hair. The chlorine just killed it. I am taking them on faith that it is the hair advertised, since I pay through paypal I can file a claim if the hair is not what was advertised. I will examine the hair, wash it in detergent and deep condition before using. http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=54068&KW=tiffany&PID=398569#398569"> |

I purchased liter duos of Pureology's Nanoworks poo and cond for $90 off ebay. The investment has been more than worth it! I don't have an install yet, as I wanted to use the Nanoworks and see the effect it had on my natural hair first. After a week of use, my hair feels thicker, softer/smoother, and overall healthier. (I'm a dark blonde with highlights...the typical overprocessed victim) Plus, I LOVE the scent best of all Pureology products. Plus I only have to usea little, so these... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=53465&KW=tiffany&PID=395139#395139"> |

Hi there chick, life isbrill at the moment, I'm just finishing off setting up my own salon which is exciting, I'll post pictures when its done. There has been a new method come about called Tiffany Twist which sounds quite good. A few people are testing it at the moment so we're keeping our fingers crossed. Amm has brought out a few new tapes, one of which I've tried, prostix which is wicked, its a matt tape so its ace around the top as it doesn't shine. Hi all, Tiffany. I found your website about a week ago and was very intrigued by your product. Currently, I have great lengths extentions in and they have been in now since Feb!. That's coming up on 4 months. They need to be removed, however like just about everyone has complained.......my hair is a mess in the sense I feel I have a lot of breakage and damage from the regular extentions. ( I had them professionally done in a salon). I want something that WON'T damage my hair and I do... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=52870&KW=tiffany&PID=388074#388074"> |

I like my Tiffany Twist install so much that I have sworn off wefts altogether, but as you know, everyone is different. I feel that having my scalp free to breathe is much more comfortable. As for swimming, I am going on vacation next week and plan on swimming with them in :) I will keep everyone posted. I guess I'm used to wefts because I totally don't notice this track BUT I do remember thinking the individuals were a lot more natural feeling for sure! the THEORY is that with wefts, the weight is distributed across a wider section of scalp, and attaches to more hair, and is thereby pulls less on the roots. The latest popular methods are sew-ins (which when done well are very safe and comfortable) and quite a few girls are trying tiffany twist's new bond for individuals. Its not a fusion technically though it is done the same way. For swimming, I'd stay away from fusion or any type of adhesives, since the water and chlorine could... http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=53251&KW=tiffany&PID=387052#387052"> |
