Brushing light is better.Think about sweeping the kitchen floor if you apply to much pressure you won't get no where if you do it light you make progress.

That's interesting as I never thought about it when I brushed my hair

Wouldn't it depend on the type of brush?

theoretically, brushin lightly for longer amounts of time would be the best cuz it allows for, hard to explain, the least amount of hair to be brushed at once, if u feel me, gotta think about it a lil bit

Brushes do determine how hard you brush. It you're using a harder brush you will wanna apply less pressure than if you were using a softy.
