| im african and i got nappy hair. I've been wavin for bout 3-4 months now and i got nothin but not very deep rite in the middle of my head. dont use dat many products. i use motions lotion wen my hair is short, sportin waves da black can on rare occasions an i juss bought s curl activator 2 dayz ago. anyone got any advice? any other products i shood try? a nappy head method?lol im startin to get cheezed. |

Just continue to use motions, or try carrot creme or pink lotion. The sportin waves wont help you get a waves. S curl doesn't really help either unless you have more hair. Just keep brushing and brushing.
Show some pics, they will give us more insight on what your hair is like. -------------

You can play with a du rag on. But to keep your scalp healthy and clean you're going to have to wash your hair at the end of the day. All that sweat will make your scalp oily and dirty, and adding products to your hair and du ragging doesn't help. -------------

f**k it power session. You need to let your hair grow on your sides....It has to be a certain length before it waves up. Which means you gonna need to wolf your hair out for awhile and brush the hell out of your sides especially your right.

The s curl really isn't for waves. S Curl will give you curly hair and that's for if you are going for that curly hair look. As for your question, the S Curl is not for short hair. When your hair is short, it's not long enough for the s curl to activate the curling of your hair. -------------
