I have to share this ladies.. sorry if it gets a little weirdLOL but I just learned something very important about my hair. I rarely ever do this nightly deep washes... you know the pre-poo (i didn't, but ok..) the shampoo (Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curls and Waves shampoo).. the clarifying shampoo (in this case I picked up a post about one part baking soda, 3parts water..works wonders lemme tell ya! stripped my hair clean!!!!Tongue) however I digress, the protein deep condition (in this case, 3 whole eggs + 3teaspoons mayo + 3teaspoons plain yogurt + a reconstructor treatment, store bought can't remember the brand) all mixed in my Magic Bullet. After 15 mins of this it left my hair like straw I tell you but hey, my hair came out shiny and black. Plus my hair doesn't like too much protein anyway, but I power punched it Ouch becuase of all the humidity lately.

To the moisturizing deep conditioning, the part that inspired me to write this post. My moisturizing deep conditioner consists of honey (don't matter how much to me) + coconut milk (from a can) + lemon juice from a slice of lemon. I heated this up on the stove to Clap*work it through* and then cooled it...using my trusty Magic Bullet again I whipped - LaCoupe deep conditioning hair mask + jamaican mango n lime conditioner + elasta QP Deep Penetrating Remoisturizer.. ( i have a lot of these store bought products Im trying to use up). As I massaged this concoction thru my head, I realized the importance of sectioning my hair and Clap *working it through*. As I did, my straw like hair became loose, moisturized and full of life. I saw my hair sucking the conditioner up, so I added more and continued to the only way I could describe this is intensely massage my scalp with my finger pads and watched the transformation of my hair to being healthy and happy.Big%20smile I did this for at least ten minutes until I sure my hair was happy throughly pentated and coated. Now as I type this, its chillin with the same concoction under a plastic bag (yes.. plastic bag) and heated towel.. probably for another half hour or so..

The point ladies - Whatever product it is use that you use, swear by or absolutely cannot live without.. Work It Through, thoroughly. WinkJust don't slap it on. Get the most outta your money, time and hair. From the longest strand to the finest baby hair. Trust me, your hair will love you for it.Wink (And if you're under stress like I am now, so will your brain!)Confused

Hope this inspires yall!

Hey girl,

Good story. I agree with you, work that stuff through. Thats why tonight I will be deep conditioning with Africa's best hair conditioner and some oils mixed in, over night with a plastic bag.  Ain't nothing wrong with using a plastic bag, they can have multiple purposes for us :).

Keep us updated on how it goes.

By the way, how are you heating up your towel?
