I'm a guy, and I've got shoulder-ish length slightly thick, slightly curly hair, but it's dry and damaged, and hey it's the summertime.

Want a cut that's medium length, i.e. not cutting it ALL off, but enough to get the damage out, and a style that can be regrown, as I want healthy long hair... Any suggestions for cuts?

Iam also a guy with long hair - may be 32.5 inches long. I feel that u should not cut the hair for not being able to maintain. I feel that irrespective of the season there are a lot of conditioners and shampoos that we can use and keep our hair healthy. So my suggestion for you may be to go as long as possible and try to keep it healthy, but spend some time on it. On the other hand if u like short hair, then it is totally different.
