Firstly, I have naturally wavy/curly hair, I was wandering if by using straightening irons on it reguarly you would somehow make your hair less curly. Probably sounds like stupid question, but I want to start regularly straightening my hair with GHDs but I don't want to jeapordise the natural curl to my hair in any way.

Also, I am gonna get my straight across bangs re-done when I next have my haircut. Problem is I don't no whether to straighten it before my hairdresser comes (I have it cut whilst it's dry) or to leave it in it's naturally curly state? I'm thinking if I straighten it then it'll be much easier for her to do because my hair has no consistant wave to it and so I don't want to be left with a wonky fringe/layers. However I'm also thinking, if I straighten it, it'll look much longer than it actually is and so when my fringe re-develops it's curl it'll look really really short. and as it's gonna be a straight accross front fringe there will be no way of hiding it. What would other people do?

Thanks in advance :)
