Yeah, i had just got a haircut after wolfin my hair for 12 weeks and there were no waves in my head. All I saw was lil ripples on the top of my head.
I had been brushin for 2 hours a day, every day for 12 weeks (including in the shower and while using the h2o method). I jus wanna know what gives? Where are those 360's?
Oh, and by the way... i use the basic method (brush in the shower, apply pink lotion, apply pomade & durag). Now I'm confused. Somebody help me out here!

Post pics for more detailed tips and comments.  But it sounds like you got your hair cut too short.  I don't care how long you wolf and how long you brush, if you cut your hair below your minimum wavelength, mwl, all the work is for nothing.

I have naturally curled hair like the rest of us and my hair wasn't even cut that low.

Since you have curly hair, your minimium wavelength is going to be more than someone with nappier hair.  You may not realize what your mwl is since your a waving novice and it may be at a longer hair length than you currently have.

mayb it was da pomade everyday. da pomade doesnt help u get waves or make ur hair softer or curlier like other products. it juss holds it and it prolly held it in da straight position b for it got da chance to wave. i think da same thing happened to me before i got introduced to dis site and wen i thought pomades wur the second important thing after brushin a lot.

Yeah, you got your cut too low.  Start wolfin again and get a higher cut, next time.

One good thing is that you have a base wave pattern on the top of your head, so you can definitely get waves.

Too low of a cut, and ur hair is lookin a bit dry; apply a moisturizer. Do h20 meth and wolf for a shorter time because u may have past ur wave breakage goin on 12 weeks.

Nikkuhs can't stand pomade. LOL I use it some times if I need to keep my hair down so I don't get forced into a cut. Man just keep brushing. Don't worry about the other stuff I saw an improvement when I stopped with the products altogether and just used head and shoulders and a brush. U have to find out whats best for you.

You guys were right, I did cut my hair too low. It wasn't a total loss though, cuz my hair is now trained to lay down. I've been brushing alot and my hair is starting to wave up like crazy!!!!!!!! I don't even need to use a du-rag anymore.
