Hi everybody!

How many of you have your own webpages or photo websites? And if you do, would you like to share the URL with us?

Alternatively, (and if it's feasible,) would you prefer to have your photo posted within the HairBoutique site?

It would be nice to be able to match the face and/or the hair with the post to be able to "see" who you're "talking" with here and to see the uniqueness that is your own mane.

Thanks!

I would post a head-shot if I had a scanner......

It would be cool to be able to keep a 3-monthly photo record of hair growth/progress on this board.

...maybe I'll use that scanner at work (she thinks sneakily)...

Beautiful hair, AmandaPanda! Very shiny. The length and shape is similar to where I was about 3-4 years into the growing-out process (from a typical short execu-cut).

(Monica, your photo didn't load entirely but I think I saw the photo before when you posted the link at tlhs. I don't remember how long it is now...?)

Uzma, we'll wait patiently until those photos are scanned.

Monica, I like that you chose to wear your hair down for your wedding. So many people tend to wear it up now-a-days.

Amanda, your hair looks gorgeous also. But it was brown a couple months before! You dyed it? It still looks healthy.

I'm jealous. I dye my hair and it doesn't look that good. :) Did you do it yourself? If so, what brand of dye do you use?

I would post my photo, but I don't have any scanned right now. I'll try to work on that.

Good for you, princessmonica, wearing your hair down on your wedding day! If you've got it, flaunt it!

And, Amanda, your hair is gorgeous! Like Supergrover said, it looks really healthy!

Hi! If you Highlight the whole paragraph. It should take you to a picture of me and my sons taken a few years back. My hair is baout the same as in that pic right now. Maybe an inch or two shorter.

I haven't seen everyone else's yet, but will as soon as I can get on again. AManda - your hair is GORGEOUS!!

Gosh! Thanks everyone!

I have dyed my hair. The end of January I got a color correction, which turned my hair medium brown, it faded to the color it is now. The color you see in the Dec. 22, 2002 & April 3, 2003 picture is a result from a poor quality Polaroid(the first one makes my hair look light, the second one it looks too dark). The newest pic is from a digtal camera.

Mr Decker

What have you done?
You have turned me into a geek.
OK I was already a geek but now I'm borderline super-geek.

By starting this thread you have inspired me to set up my own hairy web-page. Did I get 7 hours sleep last night. No.

Actually, everyone who posted their photos and sites here is responsible for my geek-dom.

I am now looking for a like-minded hair devotee to check out what I have done so far and offer comment.

Kintaro - if you're reading this, are you willing to take up the sword? Can I b-mail my site address to you?

Anyone else out there who would care to review and comment privately before I hit the e-waves?

Warning - you need to have an open mind - I have written some errr ....well Brent and Lady M would call it "liberal"...stuff.

Thanks

Uzma

ROTFLOL

Uzma, you have me laughing so hard I am nearly in tears.

I am proud to have "helped" you to become a geek.

I look forward to seeing the first iteration of your new page.

Uzi : I'm up for it, I dunno if P.M. works here, but my e-mail , the GOOD one, is kintaro@japan.com

And a site of my own will pop up within the month, it won't be hair oriented, but I will try to make a small section just for hair :P

Hopefully with a domain like kintaro.ca

I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation.

Applause...applause...for Uzma. Setting up a site to show us your hair is AWESOME. I am so proud of you. Regardless of any liberal ravings. LOL.

I will be happy to help or supply comments. Please bMail me if you like or email me privately at shelton@hairboutique.com.

And kudos to Kintaro as well. :-) Can't wait to see what Mr. Decker has helped to create.

Best wishes,
Karen

It isn't what I created at all... if anything, "helped" inspire Uzma to make the site. I can't take credit where it isn't due.

But I can give credit to epiphanee for the terrific technical support in creating the site.

And of course, kudos to Uzma for what she's given on her new site. I don't think of her messages there as "liberal" so much as "deep thought." I like your perspective, Uzma, and thank you again for sharing.

Thank you Mr Decker (she say's curtseying nicely).

LOL - epiphanee is my "chosen" name. I use it for everything I create, as in paint, write and now e-create.

Apologies for not uploading any pics of myself, yet. I find myself camera-shy. They are coming soon, I hope.
It's just that I can't find anyone around me who understands my point of view and who I am comfortable with to take shots of me.
Oh well, it may come down to some self-taken oddball portraits in the park.

All of you good people here have gifted me - knowingly or unknowingly - with inspiration and support. The site I made is a gift back to you.

My very special thanks to Kintaro, PrincessMonica and Karen Shelton....and to you Dave.

Take care

You are welcome, Uzma (takes a bow).

Forgive my confusion, epiphanee. It isn't easy for me to place two "first" names with one person.

No need to apologize for anything. Update your site if and when you see fit. And thank you for the gift of your site.
