Hey everyone,

I just got my hair dyed blonde today and I love it but
I'm scared to wash it now because I don't want the nice
color to fade. Any suggestions on what product I could buy
that won't fade blonde hair?
I bought Redken Color Extend but do you think that'll do the
trick?

Thanks so much

xx

IS YOUR HAIR ALL BLONDE? IF IT IS, YOU DONT REALLY HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT FADING, ITS NOT REAL OBVIOUS, COLOR EXTEND IS WHAT I ALSO USE, IT WORKS

use redken for blondes if you are worried....and don't wash every day, it 's not good for your hair....do you like being blonde?

Mariposa: It's not 100% blonde but I got a whole bunch of golden blonde highlights so it looks pretty blonde but not completely. Glad to know Redken works for you :)

lovetocolor: Thanks, I'll give that a try. Yes, I love being blonde. I've had caramel hair for years now so this is a nice change.

that's great to hear it all worked out to your liking!!!

I can only suggest for the future, from my own experience, that if my blonde highlights start to look 'dull', I know it's probably from product buildup. I have this clarifying 'poo from Back to Basics called White Grapefruit (now discontinued) and use it as needed.  I notice a difference in the brightness, and behavior of my hair.

I had tried the John Frieda daily Blonde 'poo/cond, but it was too drying for my hair, unfortunately.  I'm sure it could work on someone else's hair better. I liked the scent tho.
