Madhuri Dixit was the Queen of Bollywood for about 10 years, before deciding to get married in 1999. Over the last 8 years she's given birth to 2 children and now feels the time is right to make her comeback to movies.
The parts she played were often demure. 
And often her hair was raher shorter than some of the other Bollywood queens. 
However, she was interviewed a short time ago concerning her comeback and the hair was looking a lot longer. Of course, they could be extensions--but Indians don't wear them as much as women in the West do (why should they with such thick, rich, fast growing hair?) Here's the new pic.
