Hey,
I have currently died my hair a semi permanent red from fudge. The only problem that I am having is that it bled into my toned white human hair extensions and made them a baby pink colour. I was wondering if it was possible to tone the extensions back to white even if they have this pink tone to them. or if there is any other way. i just hope that they havnt stained that colour. im not quite sure if i should of have put this in the extensions section or in the colour section so i posted it in both.>__>

thanks : )
igor

hi-
the pink tone could fade out. to put a toner  over it would not make it white it would change the color.
you could do a shampoo with bleach but it could melt the extensions if your not careful.
you could just do a simple test.
take out the extensions from your hair to wokr with it.
lay on a flat surface on some foil.
take so beach from beauty supply and mix with 20 vol developer. mix in a bowl add some shampoo in it too to make it real creamy
brush on a small area that is maybe underneath or inconspicous. watch as the pink starts to lift out. soon as you see it lifting, get ready to rinse it out with good shampoo and conditioner. then dry it-
if the conditiion of the hair is good then proceed to the rest of it, again-  it very closely.
they make some professional color removers that i use by goldwell.
good luck

oh thanks. that sounds complicated! the only thing is i cant exactly take them out because its fusion (sorry i didnt mention it before). one of my major concerns is that if i put toner on it would turn green or some other colour.

im not quite sure if it would be a good idea to bleach this hair as it probably wouldnt last through the bleaching. thanks for the information though.

you are correct in your concerns with the toner-
at this point, then, hopefully it will fade out.
purhaps a stronger shampoo like suave or even a clarifying shampoo will take it out-
good luck hon
