Hi all.  I cannot keep up with the details of all these treatments.  Can someone tell me the difference between a:
  • Protein conditioner treatment
  • Moisturizing conditioner treatment
  • Deep conditioner treatment

Can you please list a product that addresses each.  THANKS!Wink

Protein conditioning treatment- A conditioning treatment that contains some sort of protein in it (like whey protein or soy protein).  This protein binds with your hair and is like a reconstructer.  Since hair is essentially protein protein conditioners are used to strengthen your hair.   (Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Deep Conditioning Packs)

Moisturizing Conditioner Treatment- Moisturizes your hair with emollients and humectants like silk amino acids and glycerine.  Used to make your hair softer. (Any common conditioner like VO5 or tresemme contains silk amino acids and glycerine.  Most conditioners are moisturizing)

Deep Conditioner- an intense conditioning treatment for dry/damaged hair.  It probably contains proteins as well as silk amino acids to aid in hair strength and moisturization.  Also, it probably contains oils in it like olive, coconut, or avocado.  It may even contain cholesterol or shea butter.  (Lustrasilk Cholesterol Treatment with Shea Butter/ Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Deep Conditioning Packs)
