Hi! i am currently thinking about changing hair colors. my hair is naturally dark blonde/light brown but i have been dying it light blonde for years (from a box). it is now light blonde and i need a change. my friend (who was a blonde) recently dyed her hair red (was done at a salon) and i love it. ever since i have been wanting to dye my hair red. i tried looking up if its better to go to a salon or if i can do it from home. i know that red hair fades and from the posts that i have read, alot of people with dyed red hair are going back blonde so i dont know if it is such a good idea. so i guess i need some advice. i went back to brown hair before and i didnt like it so i want to try something different. my hair is also pretty thin and long and i also have fair skin. i guess i just need some opinions. any help will be appreciated!!!!!!!!

i'll tell you something that does not fade out very fast....redken shades eq....you can either get them off like ebay or if you know a pro who will get them for you....i have the formulation book and all that....they have the most beautiful colors you've ever seen....shiny and only use 2% peroxide solution....they have a light golden copper that is to die for the color is cayenne....and there is another fab color that is a lovel 8 light copper golc blonde and it is called golden topaz.   if you are interested in trying these i can tell you how to mix them and all....they condition and shine the hair....it's really incredible.

I'd do what u feel is right, but I will tell u this. That red hair fades so fast that I had to color it 10 days after I just did it, so think about that.Plus, once u go red. It's very hard to get it back that pretty blonde color. My husband likes me red or blonde, but I match red for the Winter.I'm gonna dye mine back blonde again next Summer.I'm trying to get mine healthy , so it can get really long.If u really want your hair red, then u better get a deposting Shampoo or mositurizer.Loreal has a good one, which was known as Artec color. Now it's called Loreal Color Shampoo. It adds color & brightens color. That helps my red.Whatever u do, don't use the red color Shampoo on blonde hair it will turn it pink.COlor it red first. One more thing, if u do go red don't do it at home! Putting red over blonde could turn it pink or even it can fade to pink. U would have to get them to do a dark red so that way it will turn a dark enough color of red so that way it won't turn pink. Stay away from Copper!!! Bad idea!!! No, no!! That will be ugly.U don't want your hair to look like a penny, do u? I always get a color with a blue undertone or voliet tone, not orange.I wish u had a pic so I could see your hair.Well, good luck hun!!
