I recently bleached my hair with the blonding kit by Revlon`s Frost and Glow. It went a little yellowish orange, but overall it wasn`t as bad as i thought it would be. I want it to be a real blonde colour though, if i use one of those kits, like hydriance, open, or herbal essence, that are blonde will it take the harshness out of the colour and make it more blonde? Any help with this would be great.

First, I would try a shampoo for silver or bleached hair. They are purple/blue. You could get one at a beauty supply store, Shimmering lights by CLariol is one to try. It`s in a purple bottle. Paul Mitchell also makes a really good one. I`d do this for a few days and see if it helps!

lgp82 is exactly right. Bleach will often settle in after a few days and the blue/purple shampoos will help even it out. Besides Paul Mitchell there is Aveda Blue Malva, Mine Blue Monday and ARTec has a blue shampoo.
