Date Posted: August 31 2007 at 12:03am My hair color was a golden blond and I wanted to get it back to dark blond (dishwater blond) and then just add some highlights. Well I bought dark blond and dyed it and the roots have a reddish color to it. The lady at Sally's told me I would not get the red tones. ha! The rest of the hair is the color I wanted. I haven't put the high lights in yet because of the reddish roots. Is there any way to get rid of the red at the roots without doing anything to the rest of my hair or should I just put the highlights in? I did a test strip and the red didn't show up but it sure did show up at the roots when I did the full head color. Any suggestions? ------------- diann
