i always use micro links because of the aspect of no heat and no glue. but, i notice that the shrink**s and the fusion strands are less noticable. i was wondering if the shrink**S are as damaging as the fusion. and is it really worse than the micro links. i guess i just would like to try some new ways of installation.

I liked Shrink links better than micro rings, they seemed to do less damage, were less noticeable and felt better, I have never had fusion due to the reinstall issues with it.

Thanks for the scoop Poose.  This is good to know.  Do you find it is difficult to install?

I think it is more difficult to self install shrink links then to with micro links, holding that iron to your head to "melt" the shrink links, and all.

Removal is also more tricky, whereas with the micros you can just clamp and un-clamp, I had to heat my fusion wand to the shrink links then slid them out.

Of course I was using adhesive lined shrink links, so I did get a little impatient and cut 1 or 2 out Pinch

If  I was having someone else do them though... I'd def. choose shrink links.
Adding micros is nice for just a few strands or a new to the "strand by strand" method do-it-yourself'er. IMHO
