Haven't we been talking about this off and on since 2000? Imagine the woman without the long hair. Would she look as attractive? In my opinion, no way. Her face needs her hair.
The people who like long hair will agree with me. The ones that don't will disagree. What's the point?

Should? I don't understand this possessiveness towards her hair. If you want to say you don't like it, you think it would look better shorter, that's fine 'cause it's your opinion. But do you realize how pathetic it sounds when you decide for her what she should do with it? This is not stated in defense of the subject of this thread, but in general about all celebrities discussed within this forum. I see quite a lot of "should's" casually thrown around. |

You have an excellent point Dave. Both those on the "Long" side and the "Short" side are guiilty of this. How often do we see a "She should never cut her hair" or "what celebrities should cut their hair", not like it is a prefrence, or the celebrity's choice.
Yes, I have a prefrence, but I don't tell my wife how to wear her hair. She knows what I like, but after all, it is her hair. We seem to miss that point quite often.

What a load of crap. If she wants to keep her hair long then it's up to her. Personally I think she suits her hair long and it's a very positive asset to her. I've never played tennis in my life lol, maybe I should shave my head. Seriously what a stupid question !

That "short" image looks nice, but those cuts usually lay flat without styling in reality. She'd be foolish to cut her hair, IMO, b/c there is a mystique about her which a chopping would torpedo. I don't believe that she has plans to cut anyway. Why mess with perfection, and those millions pouring into her empire yearly? Blessings, Bob

I think you are right that "most" long-term members contribute to healthy discussion with occasional tongue-in-cheek jibes that come from familiarity with each other. I also think you are correct when you say most have sincere "preferences." It doesn't take newbie’s long to pick-up on what those preferences tend to be.
I personally don't mind the occasional thread that pokes fun or even turns into the same old long/short banter. I can always stop reading a particular thread when I get tired if it. I don't really mean to offend when I, on occasion, kick in a sarcastic comment or two. |

Thanks Kramer, but I'm fine with Ken's remark. If Ken noticed, I believe that I said that Marina McBride's short cut looked "hot", and today I was all about Charlize's old crop. Granted, I prefer both long, but I truly enjoyed the cuts on both women.
THIS may stun you Ken. I actually rate the short styles of Jenny McCarthy, Patricia Arquette, skater Jayne Torville and Patricia Heaton *higher* than their longer 'dos. And, the same for several women I know personally. So, to me, it *is* about the individual.
Re Anna, though, I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would hope that she cuts those startling blonde locks.

To bring this back to the original topic, why would Anna cut her hair if she's not playing tennis anymore. I could understand cutting your hair if you're about to play tennis because you don't want it in the way. But I don't understand why she would cut her hair just because she's not playing tennis. |

| I think the long hair suits her. It's healthy and shiny so I don't see any reason cut it. Maybe shorten it to her mid-back but my vote would not be for anything shorter. She's still young and vibrant so why not keep the long hair as long as possible! |
