          | Hi, I`m thinking about cutting my wavy thick mid-back/waist length hair to were the ends just barely touch the shoulders one length. My hair has some damage to it.

Do you think I would need long layers to aviod the
pyramid head look or would all one length work?

          | Hi. Try cutting it first without the layers to see if you like it. If you do get the pyramid look, then you can always go back and get layers put in. But, is it really that damaged that you have to cut off that much? Could you maybe talk to a stylist and maybe have him/her set you up on a deep conditioning regimine? But, good luck with whatever you do. I`m sure that either way, it`ll be beautiful.

          | Hi. The day before yesterday I had my waist length hair cut to shoulder length. I have some long layers and it is a bit more layered at the front. I have always had my hair at least waist length so it is really weird but I like it. I don`t know if it would go funny all one length or not but I thought that I would tell you what I did anyway.
