no offence but i havent been active for a month or 2 and i come bak seeing 9 mods wow... i dont care if yal think that i should still be a mod because of my inactivity but i think we should have a friendly lil poll b4 beef starts

One thing all you guys have to realize is that every mod isn't a mod of the 360 waves forum. When you become a mod, that title is under your name no matter what forum you post in. I for one am only over one section, but you have guys over multiple sections and they don't even do anything. Most of the privileges that I have are used behind the scenes. -------------

Its not that serious guys. Its a title that goes under your name. You can make polls and close posts but none of you can ban as far as I know and unless it was an around the clock of banning black men with waves running wild through HB I couldn't really see a reason to want less. If anyone were to seriously stay or go it would be Sleepy (Put in more work than any one else in a shorter amount of time than anyone else), Jamaica (Though I'd rather make him a vet or something he's more knowledge than mod), Big-(Was putting in work. Don't know if it'd be the same level of production as compared to output but we'll find out), BoyWonda(Why take it away from him. Thats like telling your dead father he's not pops anymore), Davo (I remember him talking about being a mod for a long stretch before the mod-a-thon began and I believe he deserves it.). All the other people not named can bounce off. 25 was hip hop mod and no hate against him but thats how it should be. Also, F.Y.I. look at my history. There was a time when I was spitting mad knowledge out to my fellow wavers. Then it got to the point where I started crackin on people. But because no body can read past insults, all the knowledge that was still given in my insults were over looked by others in an attempt for them to get their own post up.
To be honest, if is wasn't for the actions of a current mod, we would have more power than we do now. Just ask J-Kid about that.

Don't worry guys. Some of the current mods are going to get tired of being on here eventually and we just won't see them as active anymore. There are a couple of guys that are mods' and upon their return (if ever) they still will have the power to edit and delete posts. -------------

Actually, as much as you guys want us MODERATORS to post. We don't have to. When we requested the roll of moderator we accepted our rolls as co-administrators. Therefore, posting is really not necessary. We are here to moderate not conversate. If we choose to post great advice that will really benefit the whole forum, we shall do so.
We all may as well send a PM to Karen and Andrew and tell them that they need to post in every single forum of Hair Boutique so that we all know who they are.
I propose a solution. A mod (maybe me) should make a thread in the main forum called active Moderators. This thread will consist of all your current mod's and forums they are over. Also, the thread will be closed no comments need just a list of the current mod's then make it a Sticky. -------------

Good idea Davo just keep an active list of mods for everybody to see , and I find it difficult to not respond to a question that I have an answer to, it's like a mosquito bite that I must itch, to all the other mods if you guys don't post then thats just your personal preference but I like watching people develop their skills and I would like to give a big hand in helpig them see their full potentials. -------------

I feel there are too many mods, Im not puttin no names or wateva, And alot werent and arent needed. There was a time when BIG was busy and I became a mod and covered him and, as he did for me. His votes don't count for anybody anyways because the votes he attained was from abuse of power so his votes are anulled and won't count for anybody. Besides nobody wants his votes. And nobodies votes are going to go up because it appears everybody has voted already. -------------

Only Admin Mods can ban. It used to be that all Mods could ban but unfortunately a few former mods would go on banning sprees and many people that should not have been banned were banned.
All Mods can contact Andrew, Thomas, me or Admin and let us know that they think a forum is being disrupted by someone and if it is warrented, that person will be banned. So in reality, Mods can still ban. We will definitely take the suggestion of Mods to ban very seriously.
Also....even though somone has the title of Mod, they are not necessarily for the same forums. JamaicaKid was originally made a Mod because he recommended some new forum topics that he volunteered to handle and he has done a good job.
So maybe there are more mods than one but many are designated for other forums besides 360Waves. Please keep that in mind.
I will take your recommendations very seriously. But please keep those facts in mind.
Finally, we do not accept non HB employee mods on any forum BUT 360Waves and HipHop. That is it. We do not allow mods for Celebrity Hair or Hair Extensions which are two of our most popular boards. We never had.
So you guys may not think it is a big deal to be a Mod but trust me, we gets tons of requests and we are very picky who we allow. Usually we require that another Mod has referred them (like LilPitBull) or requested someone to help them.
Let me know what ya ll decide.
