So, I have decided that I'm going to have my hair lowlighted to go back to my natural color (medium brown). Currently it has some minor bleaching damage from previous highlights. I was never concerned about washing my hair after the highlights because I knew that they were bleach based so it's not like they could "wash out". But now that I'm going back to REAL haircolor, I was just wondering how long I should wait to wash my hair after I get my lowlights done. I've heard anywhere from 12-72 hours? What is best?

hi, i just had my heavy highlights covered last week, and i waited 3 days before i washed it, and the color still came out a bit. just make sure you use shampoo & cond for colored hair to help it last a litlle longer, good luck
