ok so i tried the highlights and they turned orange.  A stylist done it, and i sat there for over and hour with it on my head and it still was orange.  I was just upset and said dont worry about it b.c i dont want to damage my hair b/c it is pretty healthy right now.  I dont know what to do.  I want to fix it but i dont want to dye it again.  I've heard tea works but i dont know i tried it and i dont think it looks like it done anything, does anyone have any ideas please helpCry

I think you shouldnt panic. Deep condition your hair and go back in a week or so and have it re-done. If your hair was in good/decent condition before then it wont wreck your hair. No reason you shouldnt have it the way you want it.

I agree.  If your hair was in good shape to begin with then you can have the stylist use some bleach and foils to lighten it, or even maybe just toner to get you the color you want.

You paid for it, you should get the desired results.  If you're not comfortable with the stylist speak with the shop manager or owner.  I know it can be difficult to speak what you're really thinking when you're sitting in the chair, maybe you'd feel more comfortable broaching the subject by phone first.  Good luck!
