I have a question. My weave actually lasted a whole month!!!! Today is 4 weeks! The bottom row was just hanging terribly and I had to sew just the end to the middle row so one side was nto longer than the other....along with a few haircuts....BUT IT LASTED A FULL MONTH!!!!
So, here is my question. I am getting the wefts installed again tomorrow, so I took them out today. The middle and bottom weft are tangled so badly at the base in the middle that they are STUCK together. There is no pulling these babies apart. This happened last time as well and I had to throw all my hair away. Now I have this really nice hair and it has happened AGAIN! Any reccommendations or am I going to have to toss this hair as well????????

| Have you tried condtioner to make them slip? That usually works for me but then again I don't know how tanlged your hair is. I usually use Loreal Vive Pro Condtioner for dry (or damaged, I can't remember) color treated hair. |

| Oh so this is normal? The hair is not ruined? Yes, very matted. I did not think I was supposed to comb up there by the weft in fear of loosening them. Is this incorrect? Trying the conditioner now. Thanks so much girls! |

no this is not normal, and matting to an extreme may not be repairable. But I would certainly try. Sorry Kristielove, once hair starts matting like that you can kiss it good bye. Even if you are able to condition it and get all the matting out, it will just come right back, even quicker. | I have a looper brush, and I brush my hair A LOT. It is just the ONE AREA about an inch thick right in the very middle in the back. I am so afraid to brush this area much with the braids/tracks. I am afraid even the looper would loosen my tracks. I will have to figure something out. |

Kristie try a paddle brush.. I used to be afraid to brush for fear of hurting the braids/tracks.. But the paddle brush does the trick.. If you're not comfortable with that, then try using a wide tooth comb in the section that is giving you problems with your next install..

My Bohyme FR used to mat terribly towards the end of my install...What I would do is take the hair and soak it with conditioner. Then I would use my wide toothed comb for the shower, and put the hair in my bathtub completely submerged by water..then I brush that hair out under water with the comb. For some reason it makes it easier to brush when the hair flows through it...

Yes, I was but I love new hair so much that I just threw it in my "desperate" bag.
On another note, my "new" weave girl has been out of town since my last sew in a month ago, so I tried someone new last week. It was the WORST sew in, along with awful roots this week, I am having terrible hair mood swings!
