new to this site and i would like to know can i color my hair and perm it at the same time. icurrently have braids. i work in nursing so if i take out the braids color my hair without i perm on my hair i will not be able to go to work, because i have coarse thick hair.
please help

Sorry I don't know the answer, it really depends on how fragile your hair is. If it is coarse, it may be tough enough to take that without too much trouble. For sure that many chemicals will be damaging, and you will probably need to trim that off at least, so I'd recommend you get it done at a salon, that way they can see your hair and judge before they do anything by the condition it is in and its texture. They may even do a test strand first to make sure.
