I have been growing my hair out for about a year and I have been wearing braids this past summer...I have a spot in of hair that is shorter than the rest of my hair....you cant tell that unless you actually lift of my hair up to see it...but everything else is long..and healthy...i was wondering is that normal that some areas of your hair longer than others?  I keep my ends trim and healthy!Wink

I think it is normal because all hair does not grow at the same rate. Some hair is in a dormant stage while other hair is growing.Which explains why trims are needed to keep a haircut's shape.Otherwise hair would just grow out in the exact style it's in and just be longer version of it.

Is it possible though that since your hair was in braids maybe some of the hair broke off without you realizing?
