Hi all. I
am a dermatologist and with this posting I would like to take readers inside
the hair, one of the most important parts of the human body so far as the looks
are concerned. The most
noticeable part of human hair is the hair on the head, which can grow longer
than on most mammals and is denser than most hair found elsewhere on the body.
The average human head has about 100,000 hair follicles. The http://www.hairbiology.com/ - hair follicle is a stocking-like
structure that consists of several layers with different jobs. At the base of
the follicle has a projection. This projection is termed papilla and it has
capillaries, or tiny blood vessels, that feed the cells. The living part is the bottom
part of the stocking surrounding the papilla termed the bulb. This bottom part
is the only one fed by the capillaries. The cells in the bulb divide every 23
to 72 hours, faster than any other cells in the body. So guys take very good
care of your hair and don’t ignore the problems, if any with them. |

Wow, thanks so much for this information. I learned some things I didn't know before. And it's great to have a dermatologist on board.
