How long does your hair have to be to start the wave process?
Also, When you do get it cut, do you comb it out or keep the waves in?
Thanks for all your respones.

ur hair does not have to be a certain length to start the wave process.  U should start brushing right now. U try not to get ur hair cut for at least 4-6 weeks and when u get it cut tell ur barber to keep ur haircut kind of high.
u wont be ready to start combing ur waves until they are trained enough.

Brush your hair before the cut if WTG (With the Grain) and you should be good, if you have a good barber and he knows your working on waves he should brush it again anyway. I wouldn't recommend ATG (Against the Grain) until you have gotten a solid wave pattern, but if you do the barber should be brushing/Combing your hair forward after each stroke.
