hey everyone, just decided this week to try to get waves. ive been brushing alot all week using h2o meth and some ljot with the only brush i have, a hard one but im trying to get a soft one and some CC tomorrow. i always had long curly hair, im 100% hispanic but after elementry school i started cutting my hair to around 2-3 so its straightened out. after following steps on this site ive definately seen the texture of my hair change but i dont think its curling. after doing h2o meth or brushing after a shower i usually have a ton of hairs sticking up allover the place that look like there trying to curl back but they flatten out by me just patting my hair down. how can i get my hair to curl if it keeps just getting straightened out.

As for now all I can tell you is to keep wolfing. Because of your texture and how fast your hair grows it will take you longer to see progress than others.

its been about 4-5 weeks since my last cut and it was a 2 ATG. my hair grows fast so wolfing shouldent be a problem. ------------- |

Do you know if your hair curls out when longer?
My texture look similar to yours when short and i had waves coming in a few weeks when my hair was around 1 inch long, so im guessing you can to. |

thats exactly how my hair is its good to know theres hope. its been a week and a half and still no waves but my hair is extremely flattened down and my texture has definately improved i shampoo and carrot cholesterol every other day during shower hard brush and comb during shower after shower, carrot cream, indian hemp, and lets jam orange top in damp hair then about 20-30 min soft brush, then hard, then du rag also random h2o brushing through out the day heres some pics:    ------------- |
