This is such an awesome place :D. I just found it and learned of Goldwell & wished I had access to it but went for Clairol Premium Cremes after seeing the videos so I could do my color myself (I may accidentily make it green or brown).
Below I will attempt to post a photo of my Natural Blonde color. I think it is a 8 level and tone yellow??? Please correct me. It appears I have gold, red, light yellow colors of hair. Fine texture yet LOTS OF hair (long) and naturally wavy. A perm from two or more years ago is still growing out and in good condition. I don't blow dry or use styling products or heat on my hair recently.
So Far I purchased levels 20 and 40 prem. creme. dev. & 12 A, 12 G, and two 10 G Premium cremes (clairol). Do you think this will bring my blonde hair up or turn it brown. I get a little confused on if developer will bring up my hair safely or I need BLEACH TOO. It is fairly light depending on how the light hits it. I will attempt to trim and maybe foil it lol http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2007/1667230071_d1a652c4f1_o.jpg - http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2007/1667230071_d1a652c4f1_o.jpg
My Hair Artist will probably flip out if she knew I wanted to do this. I love to get my hair permed by her but somehow I am just mesmerized by learning all of this and hope to try it my self. Or take the stuff back and find a goldwell perm hair salon in my state... Argh!
I used this to determine hair color. http://www.thecreativestudio.com/main.jsp?nav=studio/colortheory/natural - http://www.thecreativestudio.com/main.jsp?nav=studio/colortheory/natural
I watched the videos on the clairol site to help me pick colors. They are supposed to be HL-V Ash, HL-G (yellow) and 10G (yellow) i guess comparable to miss clairol liquid shades. At my Sally Store anything lower than 10 was darker hair color (using the swatch book as a guide there).
I wish I could use ELUMEN from viewing the site or Goldwell perms but my Haircare professional doesn't use that . But they look so awesome!!!
Thank you for any advice. I am a little nervous to try any of the Ultra Ash or all ash. Since all of my hair is this color I have no idea what I would look like trying to get it to be 3 levels or dimensions of color... like the lowlights/hi-lights ... I wish to try it but not go into the darker colors.

I guess if anyone can tell if my hair is 7 or 8, gold or yellow base that is a good start for me lol. I don't know because my Mom always teased me about red hair.
Is gold equivalent to orange? I am so confused after all the different color swatches from different places.
TY.

You're hair looks like a golden blonde level 7 or 8, I'm thinking 7 but the picture could just be dark..
Edit: gold base is not the same/equivalent as red-orange base although they are both warm tones
Developer vol. 20 -40 lightens hair...only 10 volume developer will just deposit...and you are fairly light blonde so I don't believe you will need bleach at all.
