I've been trying to achieve that whole Ashlee Simpson, Gisele Bundchen, Nicole Richie kind of brown fades to blonde look... forEVER now! I go to (who I think is) a very talented and knowlegible stylist, yet she insists I need to "grow out my roots." (I have naturally very dark blonde hair) It clearly looks to me, like there is an actual "dye" used on the top of the head, overlapping the blonde....?!
Are there any stylists out there that can tell me what I should be looking/asking for?
