Just a couple of questions to help people know the regimens of some of the best hair growersClap. You may have the simplest methods and probably the best and I know I would like to hear about it, thanxEmbarrassed!

What type of growth aides are you currently using?

What are the results that you get?

How long do you plan on using them?

Do you think they are necessary?

-I am currently using MSM, seaweed, flinestones vitamin, and I drink Dong Quai and Green Tea

-The results I get is alittle over half an inch a month.

-I plan on using them for as long as I deem them beneficial to my health.

-I think they help my body to be at it's optimal and I do think to some extant that they are necessary.

Well- i am currently taking Alfalfa, Vitamin C, Zinc, Folic Acid, Centrum Multi-Vitamin and Probiotic Acidophilus.

I am considering adding tulsi tea to the mix as well.

Not really using any growth aids at present other than the vitamins. Unless Castor oil counts.

I do think the vitamins are necessary because my hair does not grow as fast without them and my body feels better when I take them.

carameldiva , that's nice to hear I almost thought that no one would answer this post. It seems to be a bit quiet around these parts.

Your regimen seem to be really good. So I guess you are taking your vitamins and supplements for optimum health and not too much for hair growth. I also believe that if your body is healthy that your hair can enjoy the fruits as well. Thanx for posting!Wink

What type of growth aides are you currently using?
MN / MTG mixtures (various special recipes)

What are the results that you get? My hair is  a lot thicker but I won't know anything else until my unveiling date: January 22nd. (3 mos).

How long do you plan on using them? I'll never give them up!

Do you think they are necessary?  Maybe not for some people, but definitely for me.  My hair length hasn't changed since 2003.  I've put a lot of effort into my hair and have learned so much about mositure/protein balance, etc.

BT is Boundless Tresses, another growth aid that has great reviews. I ordered some last week. I believe it's an oil/serum. Here's the link

I don't really use growth aids, but Carameldiva put me on Rosemary oil which is suppose to promote growth.  I use it mixed with a bit of coconut oil, then I  massage on my scalp, leave it on for 30 minutes. Then I follow it with my regular wash.

Where can you buy rosemary oil? I looked at fromnaturewithlove.com, but all I saw was the pure form, which you should not use.

Can you buy it from Walgreens or local grocery stores?

You'll want to get the essential oil which is what fromnature sells but you can probably get it cheaper at your local health food store....you will need to mix it with a carrier oil such as olive, coconut, or castor oil. Do not put the essential oil on your skin before dilluting it with a carrier oil. HTH

This is exactly what I was doing.  (I got the tip from Sexi.)  Anyway, I stopped using the MTG cuz my hair was growing too fast. I don't want it to grow fast right now because I am enjoying wearing my lace wigs!  So I gave the MTG to my daughter.  I also didn't really like the smell of the MTG, but I will use it again when I decide to grow my hair fast. I do keep my hair well moisturized (Sexi also posted tips on good hair products to buy.)

It's better to buy it pure and mix a carrier oil like blackhoney mentioned.  When you get the pure form, you at least "know" what you are getting.
Just my opinion.
