So I put my D'LUX I tip extenions in with micro rings. In the sides because I wanted to have an A-line cut.
I liked it until I got home from getting it cut and my Mom said she hated it because it dragged my face down. So I let her cut it a bit and now it basicly looks the same as when I friggin started. I give up.

It does look quite similar. Hmm. You are a beautiful girl with or without hair extensions so I wouldn’t sweat it. Most of us would kill for those eyes or skin so hair is really only gravy. lol.

I have an idea though. Go get hair extensions again but DONT let your mom near you with scissors! She can look but NOT touch lol. I’m trying to imagine you with longer hair but that same red color and you would look like a super model.

Your natural hair is quite fine but that color is GREAT on you so I would stick with that. You have enough hair to do a sew in weave. That’s a faster, easier, less expensive option than bonds but you will probably require fine, silky hair and not a ton of it to make it look kind of light and fluffy and a good texture match. Maybe some nice layers. Or even very blunt and straight across the bottom but not excessively long would look nice. Maybe 12 inches but super blunt to give it sort of a Euro high fashion look but stick with that red and either way you are gorgeous, don’t sweat it.

I had a sewn in one and it looked bad. I dunno why. This is the 3rd time I've had extensions and it just seems like it's never going to work.

The A-line didn't look right, I washed it and did it myself and it just didn't look right so I let her "trim" it.

I like my hiar the way it normally is yeah but I paid the 100 bucks for the hair and everything to put it in with and then 60 to have it cut and stuff.

Well it looks very nice as it is. The extensions just give you slightly more fullness on the sides. It's not incredibly different, but looks good.

If you dont like sew ins, then I guess you could try bonds again. I got kind of fed up with bonds myself just because they would always show or come out so thats why i went with the sew in and I like it now.

I know it sucks to spend a lot of money and still not have it the way you want. Been there, done that and to the tune of thousands. It sucks! But once you find what works, its great. I think either way, you need some very fine, light looking hair be it sew in, bonds, fusion, whatever you do next. That way it wont be overpowering and cover up your face. But that red is workin.

Thanks. I do like it, it looks fuller. I just wish it were longer. But I guess having them in will keep me from cutting my hair so it can grow longer.

Maybe when it grows longer I can pro-tac them in.

That would work. Im no stylist but im sure you will get some other replies from people that can give you some ideas but it looks fine for now. Not bad at all.

can u install a few on the bottom row, like near your ear>? or just switch them out. then YOU cut them at an angle.

Wouldn't that look weird? with one think chunk of hair longer coming from underneath???? I don't think I am getting the right picture in my head lol.

I will admit it didn't look so great after I showered and stuff and i asked her to shorten it but only a tiny bit, then it didn't match and had to be cut shorter. blah. it doesn't loook bad at all its just not long.

How about this. Can you post a link to a photo with your dream hair or how you would like it to be ideally? It doesnt have to be an extension shot but the look you are going for. Dont worry if its the same color as you can get extensions any color of the rainbow lol. Just post a photo of the style you are wanting. That might help with advice instead of everyone trying to visualize in their head. You already posted good photos of what you have now to work with.

Hi Immortal. I agree with Tangles.Do you have any of the D-Lux left? Add more hair and get it cut again or cut it yourself. You can always go to a Beauty school to have it cut if you're tight on money right now. The hair and color are a perfect match. You don't need to use a finer texture. What you're using looks great.

Yes I do still have some hair left. I don't have a clue where I would put it thought, that it wouldn't look like I just had one row of weirdly placed hair that was longer then the rest. lol and stringy most likely.  I think my hair doesn't deal well with strand by strand. That is my conclusion.
I suppose I will have to try pro-tac next time. But single wefts I would suppose, because my hair is thin, I have alot of hair but its thin.

My dream hair...........Chelsea Brady from Days of our lives. Her hair right now. or this picture   http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/Immortal2111/l_f43b9a17ea53db792db7cd5d5a6fd49b.jpg - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/Immortal2111/l_f43b9a17ea53db792db7cd5d5a6fd49b.jpg

Oh geez. In that case you just need a few bonds Im guessing and not a ton of hair. You are almost there except for the long fringies. I think Tangles had some good advice and that would work great.

I agree with tangles. Replace the rows at the bottom with the longer strands that you have left and work your way up then cut them into the style you like.
