Hi,
How long to wait before I can try to fix my hair or redo the hightlights.
This is what the stylist did one week ago:

- highlights with foil (looked GOOD) - she said she used color, not a hi-lift tint or bleach
- toner #1 (she said this would be v.subtle and wouldn't change the highlights much, would make it nicer), however she left it on too long and it turned the caramel hightlights BRIGHT RED and darked over all the highlights she just did. You can't see them at all -
- toner #2 - to try to get the red out. It just made my hair darker and still red. deeper brown/red.
-Toner #3 - with ash this time, to still to get the red out. This helped, but still I have some red. no hightlights anymore, dark copperish hair.
-Then I went home and cried.

Now I have my dark brown hair, but will LOTS of copper/ red and I HATE IT.

How long should I wait to fix this? I have very porous, fine, hair that damages easily. I don't want to damage the hair.   She told me she didn't use anything that would have hurt my hair and she didn't use bleach. She told me we can redo the highlights.

thanks.

Wait and see what it fades to.  Get some regular Tide and shampoo your hair a few times to help with the fading.  Hope this helps.
