Ok, so i was all set to buy LG and do my pretipping with that...then i read somewhere that if you are going to use shrink links (which i am) they are lined with keratin, and therefore may cause the LG to break down resulting in shedding =S which would not be cool. I also read that LG can turn white, which would stand out a mile in my dark brown hair :(

Is there any other glue that i can pretip with if im going to be using shrink links? i really dont want to have to use keratin as it seems to be hard to find dark brown/black keratin chips.

tia :)

I would highly recommend using keratin.  It works well with the shrink links.  You don't really need to use dark keratin on dark hair. The stanard clear or yellow keratin works just fine.

I have pre tipped with two part epoxy before and use them with shrink links.  That worked out ok too, but I prefer keratin.

Will the shrink links hold better with keratin then?
I have always used Liquid Gold, so I might change to keratin now...
