o.k yall know how yall alwayz here ppl saying like put mositruizuer in after pomade cause the petroleum in pomade helps keep the moisture in ur hair... well why does everyone suggest

that you put moistruizuer in first

and not after POMADE???

I recommend putting in pomade first because it provides a base hold to your 360 wave pattern.  Then you can apply a moisturizer or shine product for an enhanced look. 
 
It shouldn't be overlooked that pomade is a moisturizer, although not in a traditional since.

ok, so if pomade seals moisture in, then doesnt it keep moisture out, so if u put pomade on dry hair then wont it seal out the moisture from whatever moisturizer you put it??? it just sounds logical to me, my brother doesnt have desert hair and he's spinnin real nice(he wont let me take pics 2 post) and all he uses is sportin waves black can, a brush, and a durag and if im not wrong, aint the fundamentals of waves, brush pomade and durag so it cant hurt 2much if its been workin for so long

Pomade is a moisturizer.

it do make since, cuz petrolatum is oil, and all moisture in da world is either h2o or sum type of oil
