my hairlady who gave me a list of DO's and DONT's may have had on there dont. use copper/metal clips. not sure.

 

but I just starting pulling my hair back a few weeks ago  and in that big barrett instead of always a ponytail holder,

 

It seems jsut where the barrett touches the hair, it has gone from godlen blond, to brassy/reddish/blondish.

 

I havegood italian hair in the back and cheaper asian on the sides. and thats the hair that is being effected.

 

 

you thinks its the cheaper hair's fault or the metal barrett from wal-mart?

It sounds like rust from the oxidation of the metal barette.  I have never seen hair, either cheap or expensive, turn red by itself for no reason.
