My hair is black and is about an  inch and a half. I have pretty think hair and I'm planning on dying a gray streak  and im wondering how to do it. I heard  I'm going to need to bleach it first. But i heard in order for it to be gray ill need to bleach it a longgg time and it could  burn my hair. Any ideas on how i should dye a gray streak? Thanks in advance.

I don't agree that you need to bleach it. Permanent hair dye should do the trick. Leave on for as long as the directions recommend for the particular product you use. If it is just a streak you want to cover, I wouldn't dye the whole head of hair. Try to pick a neutral tone and a shade close to your current one and dye just the streak. You may want to try one shade lighter than your natural to be on the safe side. It is much easier to go darker if it's not dark enough. You could use semi-permanent or demi-permanent as well but this will just blend your grey, not completely cover it.
