well a wtg leaves ur hair thicker and cuts less hair... and atg cuts more hair and makes a more even cut... i alwayz get a atg...

YEAH BUT REALLY WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT FOR WAVES IT REALLY WON'T MATTER. WTG 4 life homies, ferreal WTG is where its at, but it really depends on the person though.

Can anybody explain why they prefer wtg besides its darker cuz u can jus go a higher guard ATG so...

well with texture like mine
my hair is pretty long
so even if i get a higher gaurd then i would get wtg it would cut off ALOT more then me getting a wtg cut
so a wtg cut does good for me!
ive gotten a wtg cut a few times before
it was ok, it felt weird cause it was some of the first times,
but most of the time i prefer wtg
ATG leaves ur hair more even -------------

I do both. I go atg first with a #2 guard then clean
up all the loose hairs with a #1 wtg. Comes out
fresh everytime. It's the best of both worlds! -------------

i think that if ur trying to get a good crown and all
that u should go with wtg
then after u get it then atg but still : / -------------

true very true, because I go with WTG all the time and it helps my waves immensely. And with my consistant brushing and getting cut WTG my crown is comin in very nicely. It also makes your waves look more uniform.
