Hi,
I`m an 18 year old guy from holland and I have a question I really need an answer to.
In about 10 days my band and I are going to shoot our very first video clip...because I want to look good on the video, I went to the barber today to get a haircut. But it didn`t turn out quite the way it was supposed to...it`s way to short. Even my friends and parents say its TOO short. Now, I was wondering...how fast does hair grow?
Will my hair grow about a centimeter or 2 in 10 days? PLEASE answer me...

I suppose it`s possible for your hair to grow a centimeter in 10 days... most people`s hair grows about 1/2 an inch a month, but some people`s hair is faster, some slower, it just depends on your hair.

It will grow out a tiny bit, maybe 1/16 inch or so but hopefully your music and personality will more than make up for what you lack on your head! Also sometimes your hair gets "used to" a haircut after a few days and it doesn`t seem so bad. good luck :)

Well, yeah, I guess the music should make up for alot. But still...it feels good to know that you look as good as possible in your first video...
But the bassist just came up with a great idea, we`ll just put him up beside me in the clip, and compared to him, everybody looks good...hehe.
But please...keep on answering to this thread about if it`s possible to grow about 1-2cm in 10 (now 9) days...

No, it just isn`t possible to grow that much in such a short time. Hair grows an average of 1/2 inch per month, and even supplements won`t work in nine days. However, new growth is more evident on short hair since there is less to begin with than on past-the-shoulders hair, where regrowth is hardly noticeable.

Hi people.
Thanks for the reply`s...I came to the conclusion that my hairs not going to get much longer in 10 days...maybe a bit less than centimeter, but it`s still tooooo short.
So what I`m going to do is just wear my good ol` beanie. Looks pretty good to, and makes me kinda stand out, wich is a good thing since I`m the lead singer/guitarist (:-))
